Shawnee Hunter

From the West beyond the Ohio River this Shawnee has come to hunting grounds protected and shared by the Indian tribes. Stretching eastward to the Blue Ridge Mountains, this land is trodden by great herds of elk and buffalo and teems with smaller game. So valuable a place that, in the words of Logan, great chief of the Mingoes, "all may hunt, but none may live there."
